Towson University?s Asian Arts & Culture Center Celebrates With Many Moons Festival 2008. This full day festival utilizes six stages and large public spaces, featuring ten accomplished performing arts groups of traditional and innovative music and dance, arts & crafts, storytelling, Anime, martial arts, and food and teas from around the world, all under one roof. Traditional and contemporary performing artists include Mask Dance of Mongolia, Dance of China; Dance of Korea, Gamelan and Balinese Dance; Dance & Music of Vietnam, Chinese Classical Music; Puppet Theatre; Indian Classical Music; Contemporary Music from the Philippines; and Contemporary Music from Taiwan. Other activities include Global Music Demo/Presentations; Dressing of Japanese Kimono and Fan Dance; Anime Workshop; Martial Arts Showcases featuring Chinese, Korean, Filipino, and Japanese; and an art exhibition of Korean American art.
