From ballet to jazz, this program will transport you to a place of magic and classic romance. Ravel?s Piano Concerto for the Left Hand showcases the composer?s ability to adapt and absorb jazz elements into a classical genre. The evening also features selections from Prokofiev?s Romeo and Juliet, as well as Bernstein?s On the Town and Christopher O?Riley?s acclaimed transcriptions of the music of rock band Radiohead. Lobby opens at 6:30 pm for live jazz, light fare and cocktails.
