You saw the movie, Amadeus, so now come hear the music! The Chancel Choir and Orchestra of Central Presbyterian Church will come together to present one of the most well known pieces of classical music ever written ? well known even before the movie! In fact, the movie largely got the facts wrong but it certainly got the performance of the music right! No, Salieri didn?t commission Mozart to write the Requiem so it could be played at Mozart?s funeral after Salieri poisoned him ? but it sure makes for a good story and a good movie poster. Come hear the music. Although still unfinished at the time of his death and still become such a iconic representation of his life. You owe it to yourself to come share this experience!
